Construction Products Regulation is to ensure reliable information on construction products in relation to their performances. This is achieved by providing a "common technical language", offering uniform assessment methods of the performance of construction products.
The EN 1090 Standard
EN 1090 standards are European standards that regulate the fabrication and assembly of steel and aluminium structures and are recognized by the Construction Products Directive (CPD). EN 1090-1 relates to the requirements for conformity assessment for structural components
